Since very young, Giovanni was fascinated by his fresh-faced mother, who never renounced to her eyeliner. He began to study graphic design but then decided to follow his passion and to experiment his way at BCM Make-Up school in Milan at the end of the 90ies. He shaped his talent working for make-up brands such as Giorgio Armani Cosmetics ® and Ck Beauty ®.
Since then, his career evolved allowing him to work today with some of the top names in the Fashion Industry. Giovanni’s work has been published by Elle Italia, Io Donna, Harper’s Baazar, Vogue Italia, D-La Repubblica delle Donne, W Korea, Numéro Tokyo, Elle France, Marie Claire Italia, Wall Street.
The list of celebrities he made up reads like a “who’s who” of the world’s most glamourous women, including Monica Bellucci, Jessica Alba, Elle Macpherson, Helena Christensen, Vanessa Hessler and Anna Calvi.
Giovanni’s personal approach to “bringing out the beauty” gives him a reputation of having a sharp eye and let him be very requested by photographers such as Laurie Bartley, Agata Pospieszynska, Frankiewicz & Rozniata, Umit Savaci, Takai, Giorgio Codazzi, Luca Anzalone, Thomas Straub, Tassili Calatroni. Attracted by Japanese style and flawless skin care, Giovanni is currently make-up consultant for ICC Italy (make-up manufacturing Company).
Giovanni travels all around the world but is based in Milan City.
